About the treatment

What is Fat Reduction?

Two non-surgical ways to reduce fat in a specific area. Fat freezing (cryolipolysis) cools the area so some fat cells break down and are cleared by the body over the following weeks.

Fat-dissolving injections (injection lipolysis) break down fat in smaller spots, such as under the chin or along the bra line. Your doctor suggests the method that suits the area.

Both suit people close to their ideal weight who have specific bulges, such as the lower tummy, love handles, arms or chin.

FAQ

Fat Reduction: your questions

Will I lose weight?

No. It reduces fat in a specific area; the scale may barely move.

Fat freezing or injections: which is better?

Freezing suits larger areas such as the tummy and flanks; injections suit small areas such as the chin. Your doctor advises after examining you.

Are results permanent?

Treated fat cells don't return, but remaining cells can grow if weight increases.

Results vary from person to person. Suitability, number of sessions and fees are confirmed after a consultation.
